Sporting teams can generate lots of data, along with photos by the thousand. With cameras mounted on equipment, observing from a distance and up close, many images can be taken during training and events.
Often, data is logged either from instrumentation at high frequencies or from observations made by coaches and sportsmen.
Combining these two sources, data and photos, can turn a huge stack of information into a powerful analysis tool, allowing coaches and sportsmen to cut to the chase, filter to the most important information and cross reference to previously documented training and events.
phoBase allows just this, photos can be batch tagged using data log files (cross referenced by date and time), or individually tagged with specific comments or information such as venues etc. Each tagged photo is added to the database. The phoBase photo viewer then has access to every photo ever tagged by the user, allowing filtering by venue, camera etc or any of the tagged data meaning analysis and comparisons are quick and easy. |
A user can tailor phoBase to suit their exact needs by defining the required data tags (to align with the data available in any log files), along with defining any tags to be input by the user whilst processing photos.
Simplicity is maintained by using intelligent data techniques, meaning phoBase is a lightweight program, easy to install and use, and data can be shared or transferred between computers.
